The context of the Ichthyology team research is to
reintroduce the native species of brown trout into Buck Creek on the
Gossman Farm in Zwingle, Iowa. Before planning to attempt this, the
group has started collecting data for the following criteria: pH,
phosphates, turbidity, ammonia, nitrates, hardness, temperature, and
dissolved oxygen. They have collected this data from eight different
sites and compared it to the conditions that brown trout need in order
to survive.
